Today is a day that reminded me of why I started this journal. So much of our lives are out of our control, and these are anxious times. So, today I’m grateful for The Fates. I’m grateful for clean laundry and a hot shower. The foundation of our existence. And I’m grateful for text and phone calls. Sometimes a little reassurance is all that is required.

Dear Gratitude Journal :
I feel a great deal of relief today. Idk if it is the planets or my chakras have aligned, but I feel stronger energy and more balanced. I’m grateful for the shift. I’m grateful that the afternoons are cool and balmy. And I’m grateful for vision. Not everyone has it.
The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
I’m grateful that I finally was able to pay for the person behind me in the drive thru. Someone did it for me once, and it was the best thing ever. Today was such a shit day for me, so I’m grateful that for 10 bucks, I was able to make someone else’s day awesome. I’m going to do it more often. And, I’m grateful for women who have attention to detail.

Dear Gratitude Journal :
I’m grateful for my education. No one regrets getting a graduate degree. I’m grateful that I have failed so many times in so many ways that I no longer fear it. #fearless. And, I’m grateful for white vinegar. It’s cheap and you can use it for a thousand things.

Dear Gratitude Journal :
I’m grateful for fishermen or fishers (?) – the fishing industry. I eat a lot of seafood, and it would be a bummer if I had to catch it myself. I’m grateful for Amazon Prime’s amazing fulfillment process, and for all those drivers who bring stuff right to my door. What an amazing world. I’m very grateful I bought a nice plier and wrench set last year. Sometimes you just need a vise grip.
The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
Even though I’m goal driven, I’m grateful I’m not a competitive person. People who always need to win have a hole in their aura that is impossible to fill, and they ruin the fun of game for the other players. I’m grateful for sites like Glassdoor. Companies need to have their references checked also. I’m grateful for homemade fried chicken and chocolate chip cookies. Two foods pretty much everyone is happy to eat.
The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
I’m grateful that I have better manners than a whole lotta people. Especially these days. I’m grateful for all the people who are working hard to help you. And, I’m grateful that my old boss finally got a new boss. He deserves it.
The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
Today I’m grateful I was able to reconnect with a boss I worked for almost 30 years ago, and even more grateful that I was able to thank her for being such a positive influence on my life. You never know how karma chooses to direct you. Were it not for her, I would not be as successful a person as I am today. More importantly, I’m grateful that I’ve chosen to focus my thoughts on all the really great bosses and clients I’ve had instead of the ones who just suck the life outta ya.
The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
Although I have my issues with professional sports, I’m grateful for the NBA players. #BLM. I’m grateful for the multitude of people who have quit and protested the Trump administration. And, I’m grateful for Millennials and young people…they are leading the way toward change, which has always been the mission of youth. Our world benefits from their unrelenting advocacy and persistence.
The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
I’m grateful for dinner in a restaurant’s parking lot. Anywhere is better than eating my own cooking in my own kitchen. Restaurant food is NOT overpriced! I’m grateful for clarity and insight into my priorities. You always know what you don’t want. And, I’m grateful I don’t feel angry or dejected when people treat me differently because I am a girl. My karmic lessons continue.
