Dear Gratitude Journal :

I’m grateful I don’t have to work next week. I found myself thinking about how many holidays I have worked through over the years. The Thanksgivings, Christmas Eve, New Year’s and more. I’m very grateful for the people who work on these days, and double grateful it’s not me anymore. #boundaries And, I’m grateful that I am a trusting person. Yes, I get burned and sometimes make mistakes, but I’d rather be occasionally disappointed than always suspicious.

The end.

Dear Gratitude Journal :

I’m grateful for the return of the light. Winter solstice is always a bit of a somber day. Even with the rush of Christmas, I cannot shake the feeling that 2026 will be a very different year, and we need these next few weeks to rest, reflect, and realign. I’m grateful I had time to tend to the garden before our big rainstorms. And, even though everyone says it, I’m very grateful for my friends. I feel honored to have people in my life who have been putting up with my shit for decades, and they still love and support me. Amazing. The end.

Dear Gratitude Journal :

This year has been a difficult one for a LOT of people; and, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel tested. I finally feel the shift, and I’m grateful for my resilience and the support of my friends. I’m grateful for the past few days of rain. It’s a small return to winter, but the plants are thriving, and so am I. Finally, I’m grateful for corn tortillas. I don’t like them as much as flour, but they are slightly better for you, and they don’t fall apart mid-way through your taco.

The end.

Dear Gratitude Journal :

I’m grateful for wireless communications. No one wants to wait by the phone. I’m grateful I have my own printer, even if it’s temperamental. And, I’m grateful for the subtle shift in the collective energy. I think we all have had a difficult 2025. The green grass and blooming trees tell me that we can look forward to a more encouraging year.

The end.

Dear Gratitude Journal :

With only a few days left in 2024, I’m grateful I’ve achieved a few of my 2024 New Year’s resolutions. I’m thinner, and also paid off a decent amount of debt. I’m not done, but I’m grateful I’m firmly on the path. Since five is my lucky number, I’m grateful for the start of 2025, and I’m very optimistic about the year. And, I’m most grateful that my sweet pup is doing well and on-the-mend. She’s been sick and injured. It’s not how either of us planned to spend the holidays or my money, but I’m very grateful that she’s going to be okay.

The end.
