Dear Gratitude Journal :

Like most people, I’m grateful for a long weekend, a much needed break, and a low-key re-entry. I will be very busy for the next month. I wanted some time to float quietly in the pool, till my garden, and slowly recenter. I thoroughly enjoyed these last few days of Spring. I’ll miss it. The end.

Dear Gratitude Journal :

I’m grateful I had time to return to a longer hike. I’m definitely sore, but I feel good. I’m grateful the day was cool and the hillsides are blooming with mustard, paintbrush, and yarrow. And, I’m grateful for my garden. Few things are more satisfying than growing your own food.

The end.

Dear Gratitude Journal :

I’ve spent most of the day and this week doing a lot of work – for other people, for myself, at the house – physical and mental. I’m grateful I accomplished a good deal of it. Being self-employed and successful isn’t for the lazy. Making a living is difficult; it’s not all conference calls in your underwear. I’m grateful I have a healthy sense of suspicion. Some people think I’m too suspicious, but I find those accusations dubious. And, I’m grateful for the daffodils emerging everywhere. Such a cheerful and hopeful flower.

The end.
