The day was bright and cheerful; I can feel the quiet energy of the plants and trees grateful for the return of the sun. I’m grateful I was able to go into town today. I haven’t been there since the pandemic began. So many For Rent signs, shuttered restaurants, empty parking lots. A very different life than last year, but every end is a new beginning. This is no different. And, I’m grateful for film, filmmakers, storytellers, and artists. Since the time of cave paintings — the world needs art.
