Getting my second Pfizer shot this week filled me with enormous gratitude for every single person who helped create, deliver, and administer these shots to hundreds of millions of people. We are so lucky to live in this rich country with the money and resources for this effort. My heart breaks for India, Brazil, and other places struggling with lack during this horrible pandemic. I’m grateful I didn’t have to work this week because the shot made me quite tired, and it was good that I had time off to sleep. And, I’m grateful for this Sunday, the beginning of May. A fresh week, fresh month, another chance to get it right.
