Dear Gratitude Journal  :

I took advantage of a hot afternoon and re-watched Alien. Such a great movie; it’s really stands the test of time, and I think we’re all grateful to Ripley for being the first bad ass female hero. Even with a cat.

I’m grateful last week’s rain has greened up the lawn. It’s looking very resort like out there.

Finally, I’m grateful that people are finally taking AI seriously. These are serious and complex issues, and people need to be informed and aware. This shit isn’t an iPhone app :/

Dear Gratitude Journal :

I’m grateful for Ted Talks. I’ve been watching a lot more of them this year on a whole variety of topics. It’s opened my eyes to a number of things I never considered before like UBI, and the ethics of AI. I’m grateful I work at home. Social isolation notwithstanding, I don’t want to spend most of my life living with my co-workers. They’re not your loved ones. And, I’m grateful for the sunshine and soft, warm breeze.
