I’m grateful for Barbara Walters. The first night she started with Harry Reasoner, I recall my father saying that “No one is going to listen to news from a woman,” and even though I was still a kid, it was the moment that I realized that my life was going to be different because of my gender. I’m grateful for my warm house, and beautiful neighborhood, and for the work of women like RBG – I wouldn’t be in this house without her. And, I’m grateful I sucked it up yesterday and got all my errands and chores done. I’m ready for the new year/
