Dear Gratitude Journal :

I have planted trees almost everywhere I have lived. Mostly fruit trees. Too often, I’ve moved and literally never reap the fruits of my tree planting labor, but I’m grateful others will benefit from these trees.

I’m grateful my last few days of driving were uneventful. I’m grateful for people who know about cars, and I’m grateful for AC. It’s been a hot one.

I’m grateful for the shift in energies. These past few months have been difficult for me and many people I know. I’m grateful that I’m feeling more optimistic about my future, and the future of the collective as well. I’m grateful for my reliable car. Even though cars aren’t that important to me, I haven’t always had a good car, which is why I appreciate mine all the more. And, finally, I’m grateful for a weekend of few chores and a little R&R. Summer’s here!
