Dear Gratitude Journal :

I’m grateful I was able to attend a Town Hall held by my congressional representative. I’m proud to have someone of her intelligence and integrity as our representative. I’m grateful for radishes. They’re spicy, and delicious, and the most underrated root vegetable since the parsnip. And, I’m grateful I don’t take Agents too seriously. I certainly understand why no one ever thanks them, though.

The end.

Dear Gratitude Journal :

There isn’t anyone who doesn’t feel a good deal of worry and trepidation as this week begins. I’ve grown weary of worry and trepidation, which is why I am so grateful that no matter what else transpires, this week will bring an end to the Trump presidency. I’m also grateful to have an administration that will focus on Covid, not on golf and tweets. I’m grateful GPS is on our phones. And, I’m grateful to all the troops who are protecting and defending our country, our Constitution, and our democracy against this horrible man and his mob of terrorists.

The end.

Dear Gratitude Journal :

I’m grateful to all the hard working and honest people who worked at the polls, counted votes, and certified elections. Bureaucrats are underappreciated, underpaid, and often abused by politicians and constituents alike, but they are the what makes our democracy work. I’m grateful for sneakers. And I’m grateful for a few days off. A much needed time to reflect.

The end.
