I’m grateful I got to see a huge owl tonight. It was hoo-hooing so loudly I could hear him inside! I’m grateful that my neighbors are so complimentary about my garden. I probably wont accomplish anything world changing in this lifetime, so I’m grateful my garden makes this corner of the my universe more beautiful for everyone.

Dear Gratitude Journal :
Even though I’m not a fan of daylight saving time, I know that it’s ending soon, so today I’m grateful for the extra sunshine at the end of the day. I’m grateful my neighbor came by to check on me. I like living alone, but it’s a nice feeling to know that someone would miss me if I stopped being around. Finally, I’m grateful for the unusual sense of contentment and peace that I feel today. Thank you Jupiter.
The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
No one is really happy about returning to work after a long weekend, myself included; however, today is one of those days I’m grateful I get to go to work, not annoyed that I have to….
I’m grateful for my neighbors. For the most of my adult life, I haven’t interacted with my neighbors very much. Maybe because now we’re a decent distance apart from one another, I feel more comfortable socializing with them. Finally, after a full year of ups and downs, I can confidently say that I’m so grateful for my beautiful home. Even though it’s been a manual labor, time-sucking, money pit, I never wanted to feel “stuck” at home – especially after Covid – but this long weekend assured me that I definitely made the right decision to move here.

Dear Gratitude Journal :
There isn’t anyone who is having a typical Christmas, myself included. Times like this, I find myself grateful for things I normally wouldn’t even see. I’m grateful that so many healthcare workers have gotten their first shot. I know they feel a huge sense of relief. I do, too. I’m grateful for people in the hospitality business. People who cook, people who make drinks, people who bring you things….they are so important to our economy and our quality of life, and this has been the most difficult year for them. I’m grateful my neighbor gave me some homemade toffee. Nom. I’m grateful another neighbor recommended an additional loop to my AM power walk. That way I can keep trying to out-exercise my ridiculous sweet tooth. And, I’m grateful that I am safe, warm, happy, healthy, and have everything I could need or want. The best of times in the worst of times.
