I’m grateful for my garden. As a metaphor for life, it reminds me that we don’t have to be perfect to be beautiful. I’m grateful for a week that was clear of obligations to others. I accomplished a lot of personal work, and I feel centered and clear. And, I’m grateful for software. Aren’t we all?

Dear Gratitude Journal :
I’m grateful for a few days of cool, cloudy, and gray skies. It suits my mood and need to think. I’m grateful that I can end my day with a nice hot shower. One of best simple pleasures of life. And, I’m grateful for the first spa pedicure I’ve had in more than a year. My feet feel free!
The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
I’m grateful my stomach has adjusted to my new diet. Next week will be easier. I made some big decisions today, and I’m grateful for the sense of peace I feel. Not so much because I’m sure they’re right, but because if they aren’t, I know that I’ll be able to deal with that just as easily. I suppose I should be more grateful for that. And I’m grateful for sneakers.
The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
These past days have been filled with distressing news. Huge problems are why I need simple gratitude, and I suspect why Voltaire encouraged us to till our garden. I’m grateful for my TV. It really is an amazing invention. I’m grateful for YouTube. My go-to source for research on how-to-do anything and everything. And, I’m grateful for my ice maker. Everyone is grateful for ice.
The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
I was so grateful to get my first Pfizer shot. It was a little emotional for me. It’s overwhelming to think of the Herculean effort it took to get that vaccine from someone’s notebook into my arm in just about a year. Never say college is a waste of time. I’m grateful for Melissa McCarthy and light comedy. So hilarious. And, I’m grateful I’m a risk taker. I screw things up all the time, but I keep trying, and as long as you keep trying, you can never fail.
The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
Yesterday was long; today started early. I’m grateful for my grit and resilience. Maybe I should run for office. I’m grateful that for the first time in more than a year, I was able to sit at a bar, order a drink, and have something to eat. Just like riding a bike, it came right back to me (!) And, I’m grateful for the end of winter. The world seems bright, clear, and very hopeful.
The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
Today, I am grateful for tranquility. The doors and windows open to the warm Spring breeze, the water gurgling from the fountain, the dog lying lazily in her sunspot while I lounge comfortably under the patio umbrella. We’ve been on quite a journey since this time last year. I’m grateful we have all the milk, flour and TP we need. And, I’m grateful for every single person who has ever worked in a restaurant. The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
I’m grateful that I went to college. It does help. I’m grateful that in another few weeks shots will be available for everyone. And, I’m grateful I was able to find someone to do some heavy yard work in my backyard. There’s still more to do, but it’s much more manageable.
The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
I’m grateful for people who create low-cal recipes. I’m grateful to not have to attend as many video meetings. Sometimes an old-fashioned phone call is just fine. And, I’m grateful that nothing is really about me. As much as I would like to think that it is….
The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
I’m feeling oddly out of sorts, so I’m grateful for some quiet time today. It helped. I’m grateful that I’ve gotten better about taking rejection with a shrug. Not everyone likes the same art. And, I’m grateful that a good night’s sleep makes everything better.
