Dear Gratitude Journal :

I’ve spent the last several months moving – and all the work that entails – and I’m very grateful that I’m through the worst of it now. Still a cross between camping and an AirBnB, but it’s feeling like the amazing home I wanted. I’m grateful for icemakers. When you don’t have one, you miss it. And, I’m grateful I can buy bags of ice because a tray isn’t gonna do it.

Dear Gratitude Journal :

Today was an oddly cloudy and drizzly day, which didn’t bring much relief to the heat. I’m grateful for the small amount of water, though, and so are the plants. I’m grateful that I’ve come to accept that it’s okay to have low days. They pass quickly in the rollercoaster of life. And, I’m grateful for a new week – another chance to get it right.

The end.

Dear Gratitude Journal :

Even though I was a bit sluggish, I pushed through my AM routine, being mindful and very grateful how fortunate I am not to commute anymore. I’m grateful it was a cool, cloudy, overcast day. IDKY, but that kind of weather on a Monday makes being in front of a computer all day more tolerable. You don’t feel like you’re missing anything a sunny day would bring. And, I’m grateful I’m a good student.

Dear Gratitude Journal

I’m grateful to all the #FedEx and #UPS people who have been working on this vaccine deployment. It’s a tremendous logistical effort, and we are fortunate to have two of the best companies in the world to help us. I’m grateful for pansies. A surprisingly resilient flower. And, I’m grateful for Mondays. Another fresh start, another week to try to get it right.

The end.

Dear Gratitude Journal :

I’m grateful for a quiet Monday and another beautiful California day. I’m grateful that I’ve continued to exercise patience with cyclists who ride on the sidewalk and pedestrians who walk in the street, and I’m grateful for pizza; it never disappoints.

The end.

Dear Gratitude Journal :

Sunday night is one of my favorite nights of the week. Chores done. The final load of laundry tumbles quietly in the dryer. Chicken dinner cut up for Monday lunch. The dawn of a new week; I’m grateful for peace, contentment, and another chance to get it right.

The end.
