I’m grateful that I used to be disgusted but now I’m mostly amused by the sophomoric indignation of mercurial men who just cannot seem to complete their work well or on time….yawn…I speak on behalf of all women when I say these #cavanaugh tantrums are time consuming and tiresome. I’m grateful for all the medical personnel who are struggling with recalcitrant Covid patients. This pandemic has gone on for months, and we easily forget their sacrifice. And I’m grateful I got outside for a run this am before the sun was fully out…Even so, it was a rough one, and I was soaked.

Dear Gratitude Journal :
The heat was quite oppressive today. I’m grateful for the brief onshore breeze this morning, and the afternoon haze, which took the edge off the blinding glare. I’m grateful my puppy’s energy goes down with the sun. And, I’m grateful for Ronan Farrow. He has done an amazing thing for the advancement of women, our rights, and modern society. I honor him and remember that only 100 years ago women won the right to vote, and vote we have, and vote we will !
The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
I’m grateful for Yelp. I’m grateful for text messages that make me laugh; always the best part of the day. And I’m grateful for little bits of good news. I feel like we’re gonna make it.
The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
Very often in life, we aren’t sure what we want, but we very clearly know what we don’t want. Today, I’m grateful for clarity. I’m grateful that SoCal traffic, while there, is significantly lighter. And, I’m grateful for big government. Those who cry of it’s evils have never had a wild-fire on the crest of their vista.
The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
I’m grateful for underpasses and overpasses. They are cool, and I’m sure there was some math involved. I’m grateful that charm is more than beauty, but no one knows that until they dump you for someone smokin’ hot but brain-dead dull. And, I’m grateful for my espresso machine.
The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
I drove home through the city tonight; I’m so grateful that I’m not at a laundromat with a bunch of kids. The only thing that sucks more than the laundromat is the bus. I’ve spent a lot of time in both, and I’m so grateful I don’t need to use either anymore. I’m grateful that I spent more time today working than was required. I made significant progress on a big project, and I feel good about myself. And, I’m grateful tomorrow is a short day.
The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
I’m grateful for all the jobs I’ve had. I’ve always been suspicious of people who have worked for the same company their whole life. I’m grateful I’m an extremely organized person. You can help people to be better organized, but at the end of the day, you’re either a kid who stacks their blocks nicely, or you are not. And, I’m grateful for a day with no need for AC.
The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
I’m so grateful that I was able to get the house cleaned today. The place is spotless and my weekend is free for more important endeavors. I’m grateful I made it to the yoga studio instead of streaming. It felt good to stretch and breath in a space that wasn’t home. And, I’m very grateful to whomever painted the rocks I saw on the trail today. A sweet surprise.
The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
I spent most of the day assembling a new office chair. I’m grateful it is functional. If Trump really wanted to protect us from China, he would ban the sales of assembly-required injection mold furniture — ruining weekends and destroying relationships for decades. I’m grateful for solar lighting. And I’m grateful that supermarkets have grab and go cold cuts and hot chickens. The end.
Dear Gratitude Journal :
Some days are quiet, and I’m grateful for those. Sometimes it is necessary to make that leap of faith…the big jump into the abyss. I’m grateful for my spiritual guides. And, I’m grateful fried chicken is everywhere.
